Capabilities

Every arm on one virtual battlefield

4K & 8K projection

A multi-channel, high-resolution projection system gives the immersion and field of view that joint-arms procedures demand.

Forward observer

A dedicated forward observer position with virtual binoculars to locate targets and direct fire onto the virtual battlefield.

Artillery simulator

An integrated artillery simulator works alongside the forward observer position in the same virtual environment.

Air support

Air support is part of the scenario, and the system connects to flight simulators so aircrews and ground units train in the same exercise.

Drones & mechanized

Drone and UAS support and mechanized support extend the exercise beyond dismounted troops.

C2 & global view

A command-and-control view and a global view of the virtual battlefield let commanders follow and coordinate every element.

Distributed simulation

From squad to battalion over DIS-HLA

AV-TAC is built for distributed training. Simulators connected over DIS-HLA bring separate units and systems into one joint-arms exercise, so coordination between arms is practiced at the echelon where it happens — from squad up to battalion.
