Tactical real-time advanced combat engagement and response

TRACER-X is SiNTRES' force-on-force and live-simulation engagement system. Teams use laser emitters and sensors to register virtual-ammunition impacts and stream them to a control center that, at the end of training, delivers a complete after-action review. Force-on-force training with measurable results

Real or simulated weapons

TRACER-X works on simulated and real firearms. On real weapons it is used with or without blanks and is triggered by the firing pin through a shock sensor.

Head, rifle and vest units

The head unit carries GNSS, IMU and AI/computer vision; the rifle unit an HD/IR camera and ballistics; the vest unit registers hits and operator vitals.

Live tracking on C2

Every operator is geolocated and shown in real time on a map of the terrain or building at the SiNTRES C2. Movement is recorded for later analysis.

Rules of engagement

Configurable rules of engagement and a precise ballistic effect on the weapon and the operator support progressive use-of-force training.

Train anywhere, safely

No dedicated site is needed — a warehouse, gym or office will do. The Class 1 laser is eye-safe and sessions cause no direct or indirect damage.

After-action review

Hit confirmation, casualties and movement feed a complete AAR, so instructors can show the team what happened and issue a full exercise report.

Acquisition or service

Laser live simulation with a trained OPFOR

Units can acquire TRACER-X — or rent it as a service. In the service model, SiNTRES supplies all the equipment plus a trained opposing-force (OPFOR) team for scenarios such as hostage situations, kidnapping, riots, armed robbery, violent crime and cash-in-transit attacks. Your unit applies its tactics without knowing how the OPFOR will react.

What is a laser engagement system?

A laser engagement system replaces live rounds with an eye-safe laser beam and sensors worn by each participant. When an operator fires, the laser registers a virtual-ammunition impact on the target's sensors, so two teams can train force-on-force with real tactics and no projectiles.

Can we use our own service weapons?

Yes. TRACER-X works on simulated and real firearms. On real weapons it can be used with or without blanks, and it is activated by the firing pin through a shock sensor.

Is the laser safe for the eyes?

Yes. TRACER-X uses a low-emission Class 1 laser, which is eye-safe, and training sessions cause no direct or indirect damage to people or property.

Do we need a dedicated training facility?

No. TRACER-X can be used almost anywhere — a warehouse, gym, office or other building. It is also integrated into the COMBAT-X tactical training facility.

Can TRACER-X be rented instead of purchased?

Yes. Besides acquisition, SiNTRES offers rental as a service, supplying all equipment and a trained OPFOR team. There is no equipment purchase and no maintenance or operator-training cost.

Does it work with robotic targets?

Yes. RAVN-X React is the SiNTRES force-on-target training robot: each unit wears a TRACER-X sensing vest and shoots back with TRACER-X laser technology, with every hit scored in real time.
