RAVN-X Stinger

Squad-level combat support · Human-in-the-loop fire control

RAVN-X Stinger is an unmanned ground vehicle designed for squad-level combat support. Its stabilized weapon mount carries a real assault rifle or a squad-level machine gun such as the M249 SAW or similar — extending the squad's firepower while keeping operators out of the line of fire.

Only a human can pull the trigger. Stinger can navigate and patrol autonomously, and its AI recognizes and identifies targets — but it has no trigger authority. Every engagement requires a deliberate decision by a human operator.

Capabilities

A combat support UGV with a human in command

Human-only fire control

Fire control is human-in-the-loop: only the operator can engage. The vehicle never fires on its own, and every engagement is a deliberate human decision.

AI recognition and IFF

The AI recognizes and identifies targets and supports identification friend or foe (IFF) — with no trigger authority. Recognition is not authorization: the decision to fire stays with the operator.

Squad firepower

A stabilized weapon mount carries a real assault rifle or a squad-level machine gun such as the M249 SAW or similar, extending the squad's firepower.

Autonomous navigation

Navigation and patrol can be autonomous or operator-controlled, from the RAVN-X operator tablet and the C2 multi-unit console.

Indoors and out

Compact enough to fit through a standard door, Stinger moves seamlessly from open terrain into buildings for urban combat support.

All-terrain AWD

All-terrain AWD on rubber tires — light, quiet and fast, with very low maintenance — plus day and thermal optics with geo-positioning.

Human-in-the-loop

The machine identifies. The human decides.

RAVN-X Stinger is built around one rule: only a human can pull the trigger. The vehicle's AI recognizes and identifies targets and supports IFF, but it has no trigger authority. Every engagement requires a deliberate decision by a human operator — while the operator stays out of the line of fire.
