VERTEX Theater-180

180° of reality. Train without compromise.

VERTEX is an adaptive tactical training platform with an ultra-wide field of view. Interactive in every direction, it lets trainees respond to multiple simultaneous threats and apply the right tactics, while a single instructor runs the whole exercise from a touchscreen or wireless tablet.

It comes in two theater models: VERTEX Theater-180 with 3 screens (180°) and VERTEX Theater-300 with 5 screens (300°). For smaller rooms, the single-screen VERTEX-90 runs the same scenarios. In range mode, the same theater becomes a virtual shooting range with up to 16 lanes.

Field of view: 180° / 300°

Capabilities

Team training across 180° and 300°

Team, CQB & CQM

Teams train together in close-quarters battle and close-quarters marksmanship, with threats appearing across the full field of view instead of on a single screen.

Real ballistics

Ballistics calculated from 9 mm up to .50 and 40 mm, at distances from 3 to 900 m, on Full HD screens with CGI and reactive targets.

Laser or live fire

Train continuously with laser at zero ammunition cost, or switch to the hybrid live-fire module and engage the scenario with real rounds.

Use of force

Lethal and less-lethal options, low-light scenarios and tactical flashlights for progressive use-of-force and judgment training.

OPFOR Live & AI

Human role players control the opposing force from the OPFOR station, or adaptive OPFOR-AI characters react to the trainees' actions.

After-action review

Trainee action-capture video, replay, shot analysis and reports. Record and insert your own scenarios to match local procedures.

Hybrid live fire

Real rounds into the virtual scenario

VERTEX accepts the SiNTRES hybrid live-fire module: the only simulator capable of recognizing live rounds fired directly at the projection screen. Trainees use their own unmodified service weapon, and the scenario reacts exactly as it would to laser fire — with moving people, hostages and bystanders in the line of fire.

Self-healing screen rated for up to 4,000 rounds per m² (about 85,000 per roll)
Switch to laser for continuous zero-cost training
PDF reports: score, shot times, split times, target, distance, weapon and caliber
Shoot House variant: up to 5 interoperable rooms run by one operator

Questions

VERTEX FAQ

What is the difference between Theater-180, Theater-300 and VERTEX-90?

VERTEX Theater-180 uses 3 screens (180°), VERTEX Theater-300 uses 5 screens (300°) and VERTEX-90 uses a single screen. All run the same scenarios and features; the 300° theater surrounds the team almost completely, so threats can come from the sides and behind.

How many people can train at the same time?

Up to 16 trainees. In range mode the theater works as a virtual shooting range with up to 16 lanes.

Can trainees use live ammunition?

Yes. With the hybrid live-fire module, trainees fire real rounds from their own service weapon directly at the screen, and the scenario reacts as it does to laser fire. They can switch back to laser at any time for zero-cost training.

Who operates the simulator?

A single instructor runs the exercise from a touchscreen or wireless tablet. An optional OPFOR station lets a human role player control the opposing force.
