Mobile Hybrid Range

Truck-mounted & containerized ballistic ranges

SiNTRES truck-mounted mobile shooting range

SiNTRES designs mobile, containerized and fixed ballistic ranges to each customer's requirements. SiNTRES designs and manufactures container shooting ranges, including hybrid simulators and SiNTRES TraX automated lane systems. Each one combines live fire on paper targets with live fire into the virtual environment, so a single compact range covers both basic marksmanship and decision-making training.

The range carries its own generator, air conditioning, exhaust and acoustic panels, and the projection and sensors are protected by ballistic plates.

Length: 12 m
Width: 2.5 m
Lanes: 3
Caliber: Up to 7.62*

* Custom calibers up to .50 on request.

Capabilities

A complete range on wheels

Truck-mounted range

A 12 × 2.5 m ballistic range with 3 shooting lanes built on a truck, live fire up to 7.62 and custom calibers up to .50 on request.

Containerized range

The container version needs only 14 × 5 m of free space and can be easily removed and transported — ideal for municipal guards without a range of their own.

Paper and virtual targets

Live fire on paper targets up to 7 m, and live fire into the virtual environment at distances from 5 to 900 m with ballistics calculated for the ammunition used.

Ready-to-use content library

Progressive use-of-force scenarios, decision-making, tactical shooting and instinctive shooting exercises in the virtual environment.

Ballistic protection

The whole projection and sensor system is protected by ballistic plates, so live rounds can be fired safely inside the range.

Self-sufficient

Onboard generator, air conditioning, exhaust and acoustic panels let the range operate in a parking lot or any free space.

Embedded simulator · PM Paraíba

Capital-level training in the interior

For the Military Police of Paraíba, SiNTRES developed and delivered an embedded virtual training system. The goal: take the same level of police training available in the capital to the most remote detachments in the state, over unpaved roads.

7.5 m truck body sized in length and height for unpaved roads
Hydraulic side expansion that doubles the room when extended
35 m² training room for up to 8 shooters at once, on 8 lanes
Ready-to-use library of tactical scenarios
Articulated bumper with raised exit
Inaugurated with the State Secretary of Public Security

Questions

Mobile range FAQ

How much space does the containerized range need?

Only 14 × 5 m of free space, such as a parking lot. The container can be easily removed and transported to another location.

Which calibers can be fired?

The standard range accepts live fire up to 7.62. SiNTRES builds the range to each customer's requirements, with custom calibers up to .50 on request.

Is it a live-fire range or a simulator?

Both. Trainees fire live rounds at paper targets up to 7 m, and live rounds into the virtual environment at distances from 5 to 900 m, with ballistics calculated for the ammunition used and a ready-to-use library of use-of-force scenarios.

Does it need external power or infrastructure?

No special infrastructure is required. The range has its own generator, air conditioning, exhaust and acoustic panels, so it can be used in any free space.

Why is it suited to municipal guards?

Many municipal guards have no range of their own, and often no space for one. A containerized range gives them a safe, acoustically treated live-fire facility that can be installed in a parking lot and moved when needed.
