BattleGrid 20 turns any range or training structure into an instrumented, reactive environment. XR-20 smart targets register hits, fall and rise on command and report their state wirelessly to the instructor's tablet — for live fire or laser engagement.

Because the targets react to the shooter and report to the instructor, the same drill that once needed a range officer at every point can be programmed, run and recorded from a single rugged tablet.

Capabilities

Smart targets under full instructor control

Reactive hits

Each XR-20 target registers hits and falls when engaged, so the shooter knows immediately whether the threat was neutralized.

Pop-up on command

Targets rise and fall on the instructor's command or on a programmed sequence, presenting threats when and where the scenario requires.

360° engagement

Targets can be positioned all around the shooter or team, forcing scanning, movement and decision-making instead of firing in a single direction.

Tablet range control

Hit count and up/down state per target, plus scenario programming, all from the instructor's rugged tablet over a wireless link.

Live view & recording

Live view, event log and session recording give the instructor the data needed for debriefing and after-action review.

Use the targets with live fire or laser engagement. BattleGrid 20 is integrated with TRACER-X, SiMUGUNS and the COMBAT-X facility.

CTM-H: smart targets in a multi-level shoot house

The CTM-H (Casa de Tiro Multi-nível Híbrida) is a customizable multi-level shoot house equipped with BattleGrid smart targets. Teams train with live ammunition or virtual fire on reactive targets and filmed scenarios, in five environments that can be reconfigured for each training objective — with a rooftop helipad for helicopter insertion and a 10 m rappel tower.

What are smart targets?

Smart targets are instrumented targets that react to hits and report their state. BattleGrid XR-20 targets register hits, fall and rise on command and send hit counts and up/down status wirelessly to the instructor's tablet.

Can BattleGrid 20 be used with live ammunition?

Yes. BattleGrid 20 works with live fire or laser engagement, so the same targets serve live-fire qualification and laser-based tactical training.

Can the targets be installed in a shoot house?

Yes. BattleGrid 20 turns any range or training structure into a reactive environment. The CTM-H multi-level hybrid shoot house is an application example, with smart targets across five reconfigurable environments.

How is a training session recorded?

The tablet shows a live view of the range, keeps an event log and records the session, with hit count and up/down state per target for debriefing and after-action review.

Does it work with other SiNTRES systems?

Yes. BattleGrid 20 is integrated with TRACER-X, SiMUGUNS and COMBAT-X. For example, the SiNTRES B.50 M2 and M240 MAG simulated weapons work with SiNTRES smart targets for continuous training up to 1,200 m, with results streamed to C2 and AAR.
