SiNTRES military training simulators cover the full spectrum — live, virtual, constructive and hybrid — from the individual shooter and the machine-gun crew to joint-arms exercises at battalion level, all designed and manufactured in Brazil.
In most armed forces, training with heavy and high-rate-of-fire machine guns — Browning M2 .50, M240 MAG, M249, Minimi — falls far short of what is needed. The reasons are always the same: the cost of ammunition and the logistics of moving people and equipment to long-distance ranges.
Army infantry and artillery units, Navy and Marine detachments and Air Force security forces all face a version of this problem. The same applies to mortar and artillery procedures, anti-tank weapons and force-on-force exercises, where realism usually means expense, risk and damage. SiNTRES answers with simulated weapons whose handling, cadence, sound and light match the real weapon, and with virtual environments that place moving targets out to 900 m, with ballistics calculated for ammunition, humidity, pressure and wind.

Squad-level combat-support UGV. Its AI recognizes and identifies targets, but it has no trigger authority — only a human operator can fire.

Brigadier General Flávio dos Santos Lajoia Garcia of the Land Operations Command (COTER) and his delegation inspected SiNTRES equipment — the hybrid virtual shooting simulator and live-simulation weapons compatible with systems already used by the Brazilian Army, including simulated .50 and M240 MAG machine guns and artillery-impact simulators.
SiNTRES simulated weapons and collective-weapons modules cover the Browning M2 .50, M240 MAG, M249 and Minimi, plus the AT4 launcher (SAT4 trainer) and 60, 81 and 120 mm mortars with SiMEX-AT effects. Custom replicas are developed to order.
SiMUGUNS are compatible with Saab laser-based live-simulation systems, and AV-TAC connects individual simulators, flight simulators and remote sites over DIS-HLA.
Yes. SiMEX-AT simulates both firing and impact using real weapons and procedures. Firing positions and geolocated impacts are sent in real time to the fire-control center, and troops inside the blast radius are flagged as casualties.
No. Stinger can navigate and patrol autonomously and its AI recognizes and identifies targets, but it has no trigger authority. Every engagement requires a deliberate decision by a human operator.
Yes. SiNTRES designs and manufactures its simulators, weapon replicas, effects and robotics in Brazil, with software in Portuguese and technical assistance throughout the national territory.
